Boys Scorekeeper Training

The USAV Academy isn't completely "live" until Nov 1, but out RMR boys start playing before that!

To help "span the gap" in scorekeeper training, we've created an RMR scorekeeper page that includes a Zoom Class that Marcie and Keith offered last year. Take a look at that and you'll be well on your way

Remember that we're using VolleyStatin this year, to "keep score digitally." (as well as on paper) The RMR scorekeeper page also presents a Volleystation module that covers the basics!

What's next?

Girls RMR Classic was great fun!

Results for the two-day RMR Classic are public now,  HERE at TM2. Note that in cases of gold-crossover matches, some results have to be entered by hand, and may be delayed (usually 3rd-12th place)

For a discussion of team rankings (and whey we aren't publishing those until Feb 9) please go to the 25-26 Girls Rankings Page.

Boys Regionals is next, playing Jan  30-31

To see the event schedule for any and all RMR events, search "RMR" at the TM2 homepage.

Our FACILITIES page offers site addresses, directions, and the all-important "site rules."

Remember to get your Guest Passes to the event before you travel (saves time at the door!)

Spectator Passes for this weekend can be purchased for $10 per person (plus service charge and taxes) at RMR Classic

--> Look for the blue "Tickets" button at the top of each event!

--> Tickets for events go live at 8am Monday the week of that specific event!

A NOTE ABOUT GIRLS' INITIAL SEEDING - updated 12/24/25

Many questions have arisen about Girls' Initial Seeding.  We discussed this topic at length at our Parent Town Hall Zoom Meeting on December 8th.

In short, initial seeding is not a proper regional ranking; it's too early to  know where any teams stand! Instead, think of initial seeding as a tool used only to set up our first events. RMR TEAM RANKINGS  WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED UNTIL AFTER POWER 1 IS COMPLETE (Feb 9), so that all teams will have had an opportunity to prove their position.

We're aware of some social media misinformation indicating that formal rankings have already been offered by the RMR.  This is not the case.

Friendship I (12/14/25) and Friendship II (1/4/26) are played unseeded.  We use "competition near your home" as the greatest factor to determine venues and pools for these early events.  These are "warm-up" events, and results are NOT included in eventual team rankings.

We honestly don't hold a lot of stock in Initial Seedings.  It's a loose model based on the results of last year's teams.  Initial seeding is merely a starting point for the season.

If you have additional questions about seeding/ranking, please direct them to your Coach and/or Club Director.

Thank you.

AAU / JVA / other Boys Clubs Hear this!

USAV has just announced a new "single event" membership category for NEW BOYS programs. The idea is to reduce the difficulties (reduce the barriers) associated with joining USAV. No full membership, and no IMPACT requirement applies.

The new membership is available currently for the SW Boys Classic. We expected that it will be applied to other BJNQs and maybe BJNC as well

Contact our office if this is of use/interest to you!
